Founded in 2002, Maison K is an ever-changing, artful
collection of the most beautiful and unique home decor, furnishings, clothing
and accessories from around the world.

From Santa Barbara to Paris to Istanbul, Kimberly Phillips Hayes'
love of art history, design and world cultures is evident in the exquisite
things she finds on her travels. Everything is exquisitely showcased in store
and on line to inspire and please her discerning clientele.

She is partial to fine materials and fibers expressed in a
“neutrals and naturals” palate.

Exotic woods, mother of pearl shell, sterling silver, hand-blown glass, natural
cowhide, luxurious silk and Nepalese cashmere are expertly worked into sensual,
textural and varied creations.

Antique shell mirrors from Syria, Astier de Villatte
ceramics from France, hand blown glass from Italy and felted silk scarves from
Mexico live harmoniously with vintage tea trays from Morocco, Byzantine style
jewelry from Turkey and hand knit throws from the United States.

Kimberly was raised in Santa Barbara, graduating from UCSB with
a degree in Art History. Subsequently, she lived Washington DC and San Francisco
working for several national retailers before creating her own business in Santa
Barbara.
